About Serengeti

Covering 2,850 km² in northern Tanzania, Tarangire National Park is renowned for its massive elephant herds and majestic baobab trees. The park takes its name from the Tarangire River that flows through it, providing a vital water source especially during the dry season.

Known as the "Elephant Playground", Tarangire boasts one of Africa's highest concentrations of elephants, with over 3,000 of these magnificent creatures roaming its diverse landscapes.
