2016 - The Beginning

Mike and Kim lead their first safari as independent guides, sharing their passion for Tanzania with just 4 travelers.

2020 - Community Partnership

We launch our community initiative, supporting local schools and conservation projects.

2023 - Expanding Horizons

Today, we host over 500 travelers annually and have expanded our offerings to include luxury safaris and Kilimanjaro treks.

2025 - Official Launch

M&K African Adventures becomes an official tour company with 5 full-time guides and 3 safari vehicles.

Born and raised in Tanzania, Mike has a deep-rooted passion for wildlife, nature, and the diverse cultures of his homeland. His journey in the tourism industry began over a decade ago as a local guide, and over the years, he transformed his knowledge and dedication into a successful safari company that now welcomes travelers from around the world.

Under Mike’s leadership, M&K African Adventure has grown into a company known for its authentic, safe, and personalized safari experiences in Tanzania’s most iconic destinations—such as the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, and Mount Kilimanjaro. His hands-on approach, attention to detail, and commitment to guest satisfaction have made him a respected figure in Tanzania's tourism industry.

While she has experienced the magic of many countries, it was her 2024 safari in Tanzania that truly captured her heart. The breathtaking landscapes, majestic wildlife, and deep cultural connections left a lasting impression—and so did her safari guide, Mike.

What began as a life-changing journey turned into an exciting new chapter when Mike invited Kim to partner with him in starting a safari company. With her deep appreciation for travel and Mike’s expert knowledge of East Africa, it was a perfect match.

Today, Kim is committed to helping others experience the wonder of African safaris with the same awe and excitement that inspired her. Whether it’s your first time on the continent or your tenth, Kim’s mission is to curate unforgettable journeys that honor the land, the people, and the spirit of adventure.
